Why Seven Deadly Sins Received So Much Hate?

Due to deteriorating animation quality and poor censorship, the premiere of Seven Deadly Sins season 3 in October failed to excite viewers. Therefore, season 3 is undoubtedly bad and a waste of time.

Below are a few of the many reasons why they received a lot of hate from fans:

1. Studio Change

With the conclusion of season 2, The Seven Deadly Sins exited on a hopeful note. Fans of anime only anticipated more breathtaking action sequences. Fans of manga, on the other hand, anticipated a superb rendition of several pivotal moments from the upcoming arc.

When A-1 Pictures was replaced by Studio Deen, hopes started to fade. This occurred as a result of A-1 Pictures pulling out after the box office performance of the Prisoners of the Sky film. Due to its predicament, the animation committee was finally victimised by Studio Deen. However, rumours surfaced that for season 3, Company Deen outsourced all of the animation to the pool ln unknown March Jack studio.

The destiny of the anime was sealed by these choices. It takes a lot of effort and time to create an anime from its inception to completion. For those who don't know, depending on the budget, a Studio has the right to take 1-4 years to produce even a 12-episode anime.

2. Poor Animation Quality

Because of a shortage of time, still frames, lighting shots, and painting frames were not given the necessary attention yet are crucial to the quality of animation.

As Meliodas and Escanor's highly anticipated on-screen combat unfolded, fans were left feeling progressively let down.
Regarding the incredible potential the original material offered, the fight appeared stiff and off.

Although Studio Deen has demonstrated the ability to produce excellent anime like Konosuba if given priority, its reputation is shaky. Nevertheless, it is becoming more and more clear that Studio Deen was unable to give this anime and the important moments of the season enough attention.

3. Odd Censorship

The anime's strange censorship, for reasons that are unknown, is another factor contributing to the dissatisfaction. Unknown if the censorship was applied by the studio or if it was a result of an edit to meet TV Tokyo Broadcast standards, however, fans were horrified by the editing of a sizable amount of blood that was changed from red to white. Additionally, there were glaringly evident black areas attempted to conceal gory moments.

4. Tone Change

Fans disapproved of the show's shift in emphasis from shounen to romance as well as its overall tone. The anime's heavy undertone of romance and its lack of action at the start started to irritate them.

But the manga does a good job of striking a balance here. The anime got into trouble when, although returning to a shounen tone, it utterly botched one of the best bouts the series has to offer.

Note

The issue is that the manga's arcs are excellent and lead to a fantastic finale, so this is cause for concern. Read the manga beginning with chapter 197, which is highly recommended.

I sincerely hope that the series will be remade to make up for this. It's unfortunate that the series' great potential was brought down by subpar animation and other issues.
